I joined Intelliflo after completing my MBA studies in general management at the University of Sheffield in 2015.
After graduation, I was looking for a graduate programme where I can learn, build my skill set and extend my knowledge in different areas of a business.
The graduate programme in Intelliflo is designed in a way that provides the opportunity to have four placements in different departments, which is a very good way of getting to know the business before deciding where you want to work in the long term.
Training has been an essential part of my time at Intelliflo for the variety of roles that I have undertaken. My programme began in the support team, working as a support analyst. The main focus is on providing support to our clients by investigating and resolving their queries, providing guidance and solutions.
Starting the programme in the support team was beneficial for me because I learnt the Intelligent Office (iO) system functionality and what it offers to the users. While working in this team, I learnt to use analytical thinking, investigating and testing the system functionality to solve client queries.
Even though this role was primarily customer facing, in order to resolve queries, I was liaising with relevant teams within Intellifo to work on improving the business processes.
My second placement was in the onboarding team working as an onboarding executive. I worked directly with clients configuring iO in their businesses and advising on best practice in relation to business efficiency and regulatory changes.
As part of the onboarding team, I worked closely with the implementation, sales, training and account management teams in order to ensure a smooth and successful onboarding experience for clients. Moreover, I was constantly working on improving of our onboarding process.
Next, I start my placement in the business analysts’ team and I am excited to learn and analyse the processes, structure, policies and the operations in the organisation, working towards recommending solutions that will benefit Intelliflo on the whole.
I would strongly recommend the graduate programme to those who wish to combine finance and IT in a fast growing company with vision for the future. It has been an exciting year of training, activities, presentations, visits and career planning within a friendly and supportive working environment.
It is a challenging programme but is definitely a rewarding one. I continue to be given different responsibilities to push myself to becoming a better and valuable member of the team. Throughout all the process, I have had lots of support from my colleagues and mentors. This is a place where talent is recognised; a place where skills and potential are developed. Working in Intelliflo is a great opportunity to work with passionate people who believe in your potential!
