I was absolutely thrilled that Intelliflo was named Best Technology Provider at the 2018 Professional Adviser Awards for a staggering, market leading sixth time – I’d have questioned your sanity had you told me we’d be in this position when we started out in the 2004!
The award is vindication for the hard work and dedication of our staff in delivering and constantly improving our Intelligent Office (iO) software. We aim to never stand still and have banished any thoughts of “but we have always done it this way,” something that we challenge our clients to embrace, too.
I’m immensely proud that our software is now the most used in the financial advice industry and that it is recognised by awards such as this. The iO system on its own has an immense breadth of capability and we have also been able to offer our clients the opportunity of fundamentally altering their businesses with the provision of robo, or automated advice, bringing them inline to be able to compete with other services in the market and to appeal to a whole new tranche of potential clients.
On top of this, we are also making great strides in aiding our clients in their compliance efforts with regulations and directives such as GDPR and MiFID II. We ourselves must be flexible in order to keep up with these regulatory challenges, so we know what our clients are going through!
We certainly won’t be resting on our laurels this year and already have a long list of improvements and enhancements upcoming, not least the launch of our iO Store, which enables iO users to peruse all of our integrations partners in one place and download their functionality straight into their iO system. We are striving to make iO a truly flexible and bespoke system for the UK financial advice industry.
And if that yields a few more awards along the way, I’ll know that we’ve continued to do a great job!
