Web-based business management systems company Intelliflo has signed up as a partner of the Science to Data Science (S2DS) programme, an initiative that brings the best and brightest academic talent together with commerce for the mutual benefit of both.
S2DS is run by Pivigo and is the brain child of CEO Kim Nilsson. She started the initiative as a result of her experiences transitioning from a career in astrophysics into a commercial role. The aim of the programme is to help academic talent make the leap into data science jobs within industry. Candidates are drawn from 22 nations, with 18 different disciplinary backgrounds, making the pool of talent highly diverse.
The first phase of Intelliflo’s partnership will involve four data science academics joining the Kingston-based firm for an intensive five-week programme, working on projects proposed and mentored by the Intelliflo data specialist team.
